Job Announcement: Troy Regional Education Coordinator (Full Time, LPN)
Troy Regional Medical Center is seeking a motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Full-Time Education/Employee Health Coordinator. This role is ideal for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who is passionate about healthcare education and staff development. The Education/Employee Health Coordinator will be responsible for developing and delivering comprehensive education programs, including orientation and annual competency evaluations, and clinical onboarding requirements to meet the needs of our diverse hospital staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, develop, and implement education programs that meet the needs of staff from various educational backgrounds and experiences.
- Conduct orientation sessions for new employees and organize ongoing annual competency evaluations.
- Facilitate cognitive, psychomotor, and hands-on learning activities that enhance staff practice and competencies.
- Collaborate with department leaders to identify staff educational needs and tailor programs accordingly.
- Manage clinical requirements of new employee onboarding for Employee Health.
- Support clinical departments by serving in an LPN role when necessary, assisting with patient care as needed.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid LPN license in the state of Alabama.
- Experience in adult education or staff development preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Understanding of adult learning principles and self-directed learning strategies.
- Experience in a hospital or clinical setting is a plus.
