Troy Regional is seeking to fill the position of Full-Time House Supervisor. The Nursing House Supervisor provides leadership and oversight to ensure safe, high-quality patient care and efficient operations across nursing units. This role supports staff, coordinates resources, and promotes a collaborative, patient-centered environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support nursing staff, promoting patient safety, service excellence, and teamwork
- Ensure appropriate staffing based on patient acuity and established guidelines
- Provide hands-on assistance to nursing units as needed
- Conduct routine rounding to monitor operations and enhance patient and family satisfaction
- Respond to emergencies and make timely, sound decisions
- Support orientation and development of new staff
- Participate in Supervisor/Clinical Manager meetings
- Maintain clinical competency and serve as a resource for staff
- Uphold organizational standards, policies, and values
- Foster a respectful, professional environment for patients, visitors, and staff
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Alabama
- Minimum of 4 years of nursing experience in a hospital environment (leadership experience preferred)
- Strong clinical, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to lead teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
