Troy Regional is seeking to fill the position of Full-Time House Supervisor. The Nursing House Supervisor provides leadership and oversight to ensure safe, high-quality patient care and efficient operations across nursing units. This role supports staff, coordinates resources, and promotes a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support nursing staff, promoting patient safety, service excellence, and teamwork
  • Ensure appropriate staffing based on patient acuity and established guidelines
  • Provide hands-on assistance to nursing units as needed
  • Conduct routine rounding to monitor operations and enhance patient and family satisfaction
  • Respond to emergencies and make timely, sound decisions
  • Support orientation and development of new staff
  • Participate in Supervisor/Clinical Manager meetings
  • Maintain clinical competency and serve as a resource for staff
  • Uphold organizational standards, policies, and values
  • Foster a respectful, professional environment for patients, visitors, and staff

Qualifications

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Alabama
  • Minimum of 4 years of nursing experience in a hospital environment (leadership experience preferred)
  • Strong clinical, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to lead teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
