The Mammographer / Radiology Technologist is responsible for the satisfactory independent operation of radiation-producing equipment and for the performance of primary procedure of mammography, but will be cross-trained to other modalities such as CT and Xray. The technologist will also be responsible for routine clerical duties including filing, copying exams and reports, quality initiatives, and mammography paperwork, and will be familiar with all phases of film printing, storage, and retrieval in the PACS system. This employee will provide services for all inpatients and outpatients of all age groups in a timely and professional manner. The Mammographer will assist the Radiologist with any diagnostic examination, keep the radiographic rooms well stocked with needed supplies, and complete all necessary paperwork, history sheets, and computerized e-forms in their entirety to provide well-documented and complete patient care.

Hours will be primarily days but will work alternate shifts as requested with prior notice.

1.  Must be able to follow directions and perform work according to department standards.
2.  Must consistently demonstrate teamwork, positive attitude, and willingness to flex to other areas as required and able to work in stressful situations.
3.  Will be expected to work independently professionally and thoroughly.
4.  Call rotation required.

LICENSES/CERTIFICATES: Must be registered or registry-eligible with the ARRT. Mammography certification preferred. BLS required.

Schedule will be Monday - Friday, day shift.  Call rotation and holidays are required.
