We are currently seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join our dynamic healthcare team. As a PCT, you will work under the direction of an LPN or RN, playing a vital role in patient care and the smooth operation of our unit. You will be responsible for performing patient care tasks and assisting with unit functions, while also communicating any changes in patient status or completed tasks to the nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist nurses in providing patient care and support unit functions.
- Communicate effectively with the nursing team about patient status and tasks.
- Maintain a professional, positive demeanor with a strong focus on customer service.
- Multitask efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) Certification is preferred but not required.
- On-the-job training is available. Must obtain BLS certification within 30 days of hire (TRMC will assist with this).
- Strong multitasking skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment.
- A professional, positive attitude and excellent customer service skills are essential.
