The RN, under the supervision of the Nurse Team Leader, is responsible for the nursing care of assigned patients and directs others (LPNs, Techs) in patient care. The RN will deliver care based on patient needs appropriate for the infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, or geriatric patient while demonstrating an interest in a patient-centered approach to total nursing care.

The ICU Registered Nurse must demonstrate cooperation, flexibility, and resourcefulness when dealing with patients, visitors, physicians, and hospital personnel while utilizing the six steps of the nursing process including Assessment, Nursing Diagnosis, Identification of Patient Outcomes, Planning, Implementation, and Evaluation.

Position Requirements:
1.  Alabama RN License required.
2.  Must have BLS certification within 30 days of hire. ACLS & PALS preferred.
3.  Must be able to multi-task in a high-paced environment and possess the ability to exercise sound judgment.
4.  Remain professional and demonstrate a positive demeanor with excellent customer service.
