Position: Medical Technologist
PRN - to cover Nights/Weekends/Holidays

We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented professional to join our laboratory team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in laboratory principles, procedures, and equipment operation, with a strong commitment to accuracy and quality.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Biology, or Chemistry (preferred).

  • Certification or eligibility for certification by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) or an equivalent accrediting body (preferred).

  • Candidates may also qualify with completion of a Certified Medical Assistant program, provided they have certification and/or credentialing through examination.

Experience & Skills:

  • Experience working in all laboratory areas, with the ability to apply laboratory principles and perform procedures independently.

  • Strong scientific and mathematical knowledge necessary for calibrating, operating, and maintaining laboratory instruments and equipment.

  • High attention to detail, with an emphasis on accuracy, quality, and reliability in laboratory results.

  • Ability to administer and oversee the laboratory Chemistry program, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

  • Strong critical thinking skills and sound judgment, based on professional training and knowledge of laboratory policies, practices, and procedures.
