Offering new services and creating new opportunities. Prospective candidates will be responsible for utilizing the knowledge basis of nursing education and experience to deliver remarkable care to Geriatric Psychiatric patients. You will ensure all nursing processes are followed according to hospital policies, procedures, and protocols. You will assist in the direct operations of the Geriatric Psychiatric Unit and in collaboration with the Emergency Department and Med/Surg Unit to assure compliance with all regulatory agencies. The position requires current Alabama RN Licensure with one to three years of previous psychiatric experience preferred, but not required. BLS certification is required. The successful candidate will promote customer service initiatives and continually strive to provide remarkable service to our patients, visitors, and physicians.
