| OPEN TO CURRENT FULL-TIME EMPLOYEES OF TROY REGIONAL ONLY. Responsible for assisting the Director of SBCU with business and regulatory-related activities of the Senior Behavioral Care Unit. The Assistant Manager may serve as the liaison with the Medical Director and Psychiatric Care Providers in the absence of the Director, as well as with the Hospitalist, regarding the care of SBCU patients. The Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting with regulatory audit functions and performance improvement data submissions. |
| 2. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS |
| Education: Nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing. Experience: Bedside clinical experience, preferably in geriatrics and psychiatry, Management experience preferred. Licensure/certification: Alabama R.N. license required. CPR certification required. CPI certification is required and can be obtained within the first 3 months of employment. The general responsibilities of the job are summarized here. The employee with responsibilities in this position will be expected to: Assist with planning, organizing, and development of unit functions, including but not limited to: operations, staffing, administration, community and client relations, supervision, and leadership.
